Fortified Wine Connoisseurs

    In the late 60's and into the 70's, the term "hard rock" was used to describe heavy, loud, guitar driven music. The Fortified Wine Connoisseurs, veterans of the Atlanta, Ga music scene, have aspired to create their own version of this genre. Mike Gill (guitars) and Larry Tate (drums) have collaberated in various bands over the years, including the currently performing rock cover band Shakin' Grace, as well as original projects Tea Leaves and Random Neural Firings. They are joined by vocalist Ray Stamps, whose credits also include Tea Leaves, as well as Rocket Surgery and others.

   The result is "101% By Volume" an album of 13 original songs that blend bad attitude guitars, bombastic drums and evocative melodies and lyrics for your aural enjoyment. So gather around the stereo, twist off the cap and remember to please listen responsibly!
